The Beer Can section is a virtual homage to the American beer-can collecting craze of the 1970s. The rise of thousands of microbreweries have made 'dump scouring' or digging for old beer cans in the woods and abandoned campgrounds a thing of the past. The thousands of young men who could pick up a can in any vacant lot when the hobby was at its zenith in the 1970s have grown up - but fortunately may now find hundreds of colorful cans (full of good brew) within mere miles of their homes.

Brewer's Exegesis

The Nickelpoint India Pale Ale is a moderately hopped IPA with an aroma of sweet citrus with pine notes at the end. Brewed with 4 varieties of hops, the smooth, medium bodied mouth-feel creates a beer very much reminiscent of it’s historic English roots, but with an American twist. Hops and alcohol both act as antiseptics and protect beer from spoilage. The traditional IPA was originally brewed in England with higher hop levels and attenuation in order to survive the voyage from the British Isles to India without spoiling.
