Quintessentially British cop Richard Poole (Ben Miller, Primeval) is a fish out of water when he is sent to the tiny island of Saint Marie to solve a mysterious murder. Poole encounters a very different type of policing at his new post that challenges his more buttoned-up sensibility. His new partner, Camille Bordey (Sara Martins, Paris, je taime), is instinctive, feisty and brilliant, and the rest of the Saint Marie police f-rce certainly have their own unique way of doing things.
