Summary

French guitarist Patrick Rondat`s An Ephemeral World features 10 new songs and Rondat`s interpretation of a Bach partitia for solo violin. Another vibrant and powerful album - refreshingly different - demonstrating once again why he is hailed as the guitar hero of France. Rondat began to write songs for this album as far back as 2001 - "Tethys" was then in the early stages of completion - and at that time was considered as a possible title track. As more songs were added, the concept of An Ephemeral World was born. To date the consensus of opinion amongst those who have heard the album is that it is THE best he`s ever written! It is difficult to disagree - An Ephemeral World is an album of many colors, many new and different techniques, new sounds, and even new rhythms. It expresses many different moods and invokes deep feelings in the listener as Rondat steers you through his own vision of this world.
