What happens when three young people in today's changing India try to figure out what love, attraction and commitment mean to each of them? Raghu (Shushant Singh Rajput) needs a woman in his life -the rest he's going to figure out along the way. Gayatri (Parineeti Chopra) has been around the block a few times and knows the scene, warts and all. Tara (Vaani Kapoor) knows what's right for her, but a little experimenting never did hurt anybody, did it? When their lives crisscross, their beliefs get challenged, and their loves, tested.

Born with the ability to foretell the future, Chandigarh-based Nihaal Singh, re-locates to study in a Mumbai-based college. He meets with and falls in love with snobbish and rude Nisha Kapoor, who subsequently becomes a little humble after he rescues her and others by assisting ACP Pradhan to diffuse a bomb in a busy shopping mall. Nihaal will soon find his life changing after he becomes involved with his college's professor Siddharth Verma; is on the hit list of Don Kalicharan; and a terrorist group that wants to enlist his help in planting explosives in busy locales all over Mumbai.

Luck By Chance is about all things related to the film industry, it's refreshingly subtle in its obsession. Although its two lead protagonists a pair of struggling actors, talk shop all the time, the emphasis is mostly on networking and bagging opportunities under certain filmmakers. And so it is Singh is Kinng over theatre, where there's seemingly no place for heavy-duty pseudo intellectualism or world cinema humbug.Also, wanting to be an actor doesn't always translate into a certified fan boy like one of its characters demonstrates to us.

The Indian population and community is present all thorough the world. And a substantial part of this resides in Britain; some of them who have been there ever since the times of the British Raj in India. A film that travels three continents [Asia, Europe, U.S.A.] and 8/10 years, Hum Tum is a love story that relies heavily on romance and light moments. Though the storyline is wafer thin, the twists and turns in the film keep the interest alive to an extent.

Love Aaj Kal is a romantic comedy that segues into a drama, taking a more sophisticated approach and allowing for real emotional development, something we don't get too much of from the generic Bollywood product, what with Indian cinema so hooked on sweeping over-the-top romances.

It is not difficult to choose between a good and a bad, but choosing the better of two goods or lesser of two evils can be really hard. Zooni Ali Beg (Kajol) gets this advice from her father when she sets out for the first time to discover the world of her own.
