He and Louisa have also welcomed a baby daughter, Mary Elizabeth, a sister for four-year-old James Henry. In Series 1-4, Doc Martin adapts to life in the picturesque Cornish village he reluctantly calls home. With his irascible manner and permanent scowl, he quickly offends everyone in town, including the one person he wants to impress: beautiful teacher Louisa Glasson (Caroline Catz, Murder In Suburbia).
