Thunder Road Guitars borrowed that energy for their Stinger Series and pointed Gibson Custom at a Flying V. Black and white squares marching across solid mahogany, VOS aging softening the whole thing into something that reads played-in rather than showroom-fresh. That white stinger on the back of the headstock is the detail collectors hunt for - a custom-order touch that separates special orders from catalog models.
