Size

Bricks tall

Plates rather than bricks ?A plate is a third the height of a brick, so the same picture takes three times as many rows and comes out with three times the detail. Only applies on the side — laid flat a plate and a brick cover the same square. Bricks on their side ?Stacked like a wall, studs facing sideways. Each brick is taller than it is wide, so turning this off switches to a flat, studs-up build.
