Fretless Guitar Masters is the 2001 compilation CD from Fretlessguitar.com Recordings, featuring two tracks each from eight dynamic fretless guitarists. Here you'll find noted players such as Ned Evett (who uses a glass fingerboard on his Fernandes Native Pro), New York City's Ron Thal, trail-blazing forward-looking jazz-rock guitarist David Fiuczynski (who delivers music that is unclassifiable, challenging and invigorating), France's Yan Vogh (who plays solo fretless acoustic, perhaps the most challenging style of fretless guitar), and Nippon Crown Records recording artist Tim Donahue (who has released six albums of fretless guitar music), among others. An amazing collection of fretless wonders, all up and down the jazz/rock/fusion/avant scale.
