Freeway Jam: To Beck And Back -A Tribute
Guitarist and producer Jeff Richman writes about Freeway Jam: To Beck And Back, "Jeff Beck! My alltime favorite guitarist. Without him, I probably would not be a guitarist myself. As a child I could not stop listening to his mind boggling, wacky, gut wrenching riffs from the Yardbirds - his playing completely changed my life. Ever since, I have bought almost every thing he has recorded, and gone out to see him time and again in concert. The way he makes a sound out of the guitar goes into me like a meteorite. To be able to produce and arrange for this album has been an incredible challange. I truly hope it shows my admiration and respect for not only his influence on me, but countless guitarists all over the world." Guitarists contributing include Steve Morse, John Scofield, Eric Johnson, Adam Rogers, Mike Stern, Warren Haynes. Chris Duarte, Greg Howe and Walter Trout.
