Talking

A graduate of the Guitar Institute of Technology, a columnist with Cover Guitarra (a monthly national publication in Brazil) for the past four years, endorsed by Ronay Custom Guitars, NIG strings and Sto Angelo Cables, Brazilian guitarist Ricky Furlani has released his second CD Talking. Produced by Furlani and Renato Napty at the Spalla Studio and mastered by Gary Brandt in Los Angeles, his latest CD is a mix of rock guitar found on his first CD, along with some new elements such as percussion, northern Brazilian rhythms, horns and even a vocal track featuring singer Mariana Castrillon. Furlani was a pariticipant on the Cover Guitarra compilation CD, which united the great Brazilian instrumental guitarists to commemorate the magazine's tenth anniversary.
