Perpetuity
Fans of Santana, Gilmore, and Trower can take notice of Perpetuity, an inspired instrumental guitar powerhouse. After winning the local rock station KLBJ's "Guitar Wars Competion" in 1994, in Austin,TX; guitarist Micheal Skinner teamed up with drummer Jim McCullough to record and produce Perpetuity. More emotional than technical, this is a recording that is easy to meditate with. The songs flow to form an overall storyline of life experiences in the new millennium. Recorded from late 1999 through 2004 at McCullough's home studio; all the tracks are live with no editing, and feature Ibanez guitars and Marshall amps. Skinner's Perpetuity is not your usual Texas music.
