Worlds Away
Worlds Away, John Norum's 1997 studio recording, further reveals his stature as a top notch stringslinger and accomplished songwriter. Norum teams up once again with vocalist Kelly Keeling and is backed by the furious rhythm foundation of Peter Baltes (Accept) and AC/DC's Simon Wright. Norum's guitar prowess shines brighter than ever here, and this is an album to come back to, over and over. The guitar playing is more beautiful than ever - when Norum want it to be beautiful - but the raw edge is still there. Keeling's voice is so perfect in the slower tunes - together with John's guitar it's what many call 'harmony'. If you like European raw guitar oriented metal check out Worlds Away.
