Listening to the performance of the Gyarfas Istvan Trio on Live At The Jazz Cafe, one becomes richer in their soul. Istvan Gyarfas' guitar playing is always fresh, vivid and rich in emotions. Professionalism and immediacy are the two most characteristic elements of his performing art. He suggests both with his way of playing and with his open personality, that happiness is not in an unreachable distance from us. Peter Czako (bass) and Gyorgy Jeszenszky are the partners for many years of Gyarfas. They all understand each other very well and the two men form a stable rhythm section. Recommended for those who haven't heard the band before, as well as those who come to their concerts, so they can enjoy their great music at home too.
