Synopsis
Some questions take years to answer, and the answer usually isn't the one you started out defending. Rob Reiner's "When Harry Met Sally...," written by Nora Ephron, begins in 1977 as new college grads Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) and Sally Albright (Meg Ryan) share a long, prickly drive from Chicago to New York, arguing over whether men and women can ever really be just friends. Their paths cross again over the next decade, until a chance meeting in a bookstore finally sparks a genuine friendship. With help from their best friends, Jess (Bruno Kirby) and Marie (Carrie Fisher), they try to keep things platonic - with mixed results. After one famous scene at Katz's Deli, you'll know exactly what she's having.
