Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983)

Sometimes the scariest thing is the reflection staring back at you. "Twilight Zone: The Movie" pays tribute to Rod Serling's classic series with four tales from four directors. In John Landis' segment, bigot Bill Connor (Vic Morrow) is suddenly forced to live as the targets of his hatred, from a Jew hunted by Nazis to a Black man facing the Klan. Steven Spielberg follows with Mr. Bloom (Scatman Crothers), who brings a touch of magic to a retirement home. Joe Dante's episode finds teacher Helen Foley (Kathleen Quinlan) meeting Anthony (Jeremy Licht), a boy with frightening powers. Finally, George Miller sends terrified passenger John Valentine (John Lithgow) up against a gremlin on the wing of his plane. Fans will recognize three of these stories from the original series.
