Synopsis
Sometimes it takes someone else to see what you can't see in yourself. Stanley Donen's "Funny Face" stars Fred Astaire as Dick Avery, a top New York fashion photographer who spots real potential in Jo Stockton (Audrey Hepburn), a bookish Greenwich Village shop clerk who wanders into one of his photos. Jo has no interest in modeling, but when Dick and his editor, Maggie Prescott (Kay Thompson), offer her a trip to Paris, she agrees - mostly for the chance to meet her favorite philosopher. Amid glamorous shoots at the city's most famous landmarks, Jo and Dick fall for each other, though their differences threaten to get in the way. With songs by George and Ira Gershwin, you'll fall for Paris all over again.
