Synopsis
Real life rarely plays out like a fairy tale, but a little optimism can go a surprisingly long way. Kevin Lima's "Enchanted" begins in the animated kingdom of Andalasia, where sweet-natured Giselle (Amy Adams) is about to marry Prince Edward (James Marsden) - until his wicked stepmother, Queen Narissa (Susan Sarandon), banishes her to a place with no happily ever afters: modern-day Manhattan. Giselle is taken in by cynical divorce lawyer Robert Philip (Patrick Dempsey), and as she begins to fall for him, Edward arrives to rescue her. Suddenly the storybook romance gets complicated. You won't hear "That's How You Know" without smiling.
