Synopsis
Speaking up is never easy, especially when the person you're speaking up against holds your career in his hands. Jay Roach's "Bombshell" dramatizes the real-life scandal that rocked Fox News in 2016. When former anchor Gretchen Carlson (Nicole Kidman) files a sexual harassment lawsuit against network chief Roger Ailes (John Lithgow), star anchor Megyn Kelly (Charlize Theron) must decide whether to come forward with her own experience. Caught in the middle is Kayla Pospisil (Margot Robbie), an ambitious young producer learning the cost of getting ahead. As more women speak out, one of the most powerful men in media faces a reckoning. You'll hardly recognize Theron as Kelly.
